The Southern Stars Symphonic Brass Band will be performing at the Great American Brass Band Festival this weekend, June 3-4, in beautiful Danville, Kentucky. The band will feature guest soloist trumpeter Jens Lindemann on Saturday evening.

The Great American Brass Band Festival is a festival that celebrates brass music and is in its 28th year. The festival is every June in beautiful downtown Danville, Kentucky and on the campus of Centre College. The Festival is a free, family-friendly, four-day event. Bands come from all over the United States and Europe. Many events are featured throughout the four days, including, a Bayou and Brass Street Party, People’s Parade, Great American Picnic, Kids Art Fest, Great American Swing Dance and our newest event, The Great American Art Festival.
